Custom Roles, Bulk Receiving, Label Fields & More

New Feature
Feature Update

Sutton adds custom roles and permissions, bulk receiving on purchase orders, unit of measure changes on existing items, two-step verification, and more information on labels.

What's New in Sutton

Bulk Receive on Purchase Orders
Receiving large purchase orders is now much faster. When you click receive on a new PO, Sutton automatically creates the first receiving ticket, and that ticket includes a bulk receive option. It opens a window with every available standard item from the PO, where you can enter quantities and select a bin location for each item.

Change an Item's Unit of Measure
You can now change the unit of measure on an existing item. If an item was set up in the wrong unit, or the way you buy or stock it changes, you can update it without creating a new item.

Renamed Default Roles
The default roles have new names: Admin, Manager, and Operator.

Custom Roles
Admins can now create custom roles. Give the role a name and pick one of the three default roles to copy its permissions from as a starting point. From there, you'll see every permission grouped by area of the app. Some permissions depend on others, so Sutton lets you know when one needs another turned on.

Refreshed Settings
Settings have a cleaner layout that makes things easier to find.

Profile Security Settings
Your user profile now has its own security settings, where you can manage your password and set up two-step verification.

More Information on Labels
You can now add vendor custom fields to receive-in labels, and add inventory notes, tags, and category to your labels. The context your team needs is right there on the label.

Try out custom roles and bulk receiving, and let us know what you think.
