MCP Connector Setup & Auto-Reserve for Serialized Inventory

Product Update

Sutton adds an MCP settings page for connecting AI assistants, auto-reserved serialized output, multi-select custom fields, shared custom links, and QuickBooks and Xero exports.

What's New in Sutton

New MCP Settings Page
A new MCP page under settings shows your organization's unique MCP server URL, ready to copy into Claude, ChatGPT, or whichever AI assistant you're connecting. It also links to a step-by-step setup guide. The page is live now, and the MCP connector itself is in beta.

Price Lists Fix on Sales Orders
We fixed a bug where price lists on sales orders disappeared after saving. Price lists now stay put.

Auto-Reserved Output for Serialized Inventory
When a manufacturing order finishes and is linked to a sales order line item, the serialized output now reserves automatically, as long as both share a fulfillment location. No more manual reserving after production wraps up, so finished goods are ready to ship right away.

Multi-Select Custom Fields
Create custom fields that hold multiple values at once, instead of building several single-select fields or relying on free text. Tag an item with multiple certifications, or a job that touches more than one product line.

Shareable Custom Links
Set custom links to be visible to just you or your entire organization. Built a custom tool? Add it as a link and share it with your team. Everyone can favorite it for quick access, and only the creator can edit it.

QuickBooks and Xero Exports
Export records to QuickBooks or Xero right from integration settings. Click in, select the records you want to export, and you're done. Sales orders also now have a direct link to invoices in the sidebar, so you can jump to the accounting side without navigating away.
