MO Redesign, Order Approvals & Picking Alerts
August 4, 2026

New Manufacturing Order UI, SO/PO Approvals, Material Picking Alerts & More

New Feature
Improvement

Sutton adds approval thresholds for purchase and sales orders, alerts for incorrect material picks, a redesigned MO page, bulk bin label printing, and a transfer items view.

What's New in Sutton

‍A New Look for Manufacturing Orders
The MO detail page now matches the cleaner design already on sales orders and purchase orders. Materials, production, and work orders sit on one side, with MO details in a scrollable panel on the right. Prefer the old layout for now? You can switch back anytime from the MO table view.

Approvals for Purchase and Sales Orders
Set a dollar threshold, like anything over $10,000, and orders above that amount will require approval before moving forward. You get oversight on big orders without slowing down the smaller everyday ones.

Incorrect Material Picking Alerts
If the wrong material or the wrong quantity gets picked while completing a work order, Sutton flags it before the work order closes. This applies to every work order in a manufacturing order, from the first to the last, so discrepancies get caught early instead of surfacing down the line.

Bulk Label Printing for Bins and Work Centers
Select multiple bins or work centers and print all their QR codes and barcodes at once. No more printing labels one at a time.

Transfer Items Tab
The inventory page has a new Transfer Items tab with a line item view of everything that's been transferred. See the transfer quantity, the label it was picked from, the TRO it belongs to, and the from and to locations and bins, all at a glance.
